Final Night

Well one down and one to go for Mr. Walters as Dwight Brown ended his night on the hook ending any hope. Beyore won the LM finale which was filled with some good excitment as Hanley and Donaldson got togther and Hanley ending up on the bad end with the infield wall and that finishing his night trying to take Donaldson out under caution(the pace car was close to getting it to in that ordeal) Craig Willoughby took the feature an I'am assuming the champion ship in 4cyl. The 21 eagle.ca entry won the Thunder feature not sure of the driver or the home track(as the Vortec and 5 speed were making that car move and I mean move) Not sure of the exact end to the points but I believe Donny Beatty had a strong enough night to secure the championship. Im sure there were a few of you there but for those who missed it theres your run down.

It was Norm Mayhew that was driving the number 21 Thunder Car. I know I'll get razzed for this but I was very happy to see Kyle finally stand up against Hanley. After the number of cars that Hanley has helped into the wall this year he was due for similar treatment. And in all reality he did nothing different than most drivers this year at Kawartha, just that Jeff feels he should be allowed to push his way around but not expect to be moved or defend a position against.

How many cars in all their classes? Any non-regular LM/LLM out there?

Scott Beatty and Mike Brown ran LLM from Barrie, Mike Browns car looked like he wouldnt be running today, as well as John Houle from Sunset. There was about 15-17 cars. LM looked like it was the normal feild about 12 cars. Thunders besides Mayhew and Sunsets Ken Weidbrod normal feild probly about 18-20 i believe i may be wrong but they did have the biggest feild of the night. Mini Stocks had 16 with visiting Chance Isherwood from Barrie in the 35, started deadlast in 16th finished 6th running nothing but the 2nd and 3rd lane. That would do it for visiting cars and how many were there.

Also it was nice to see Hanley get it, Kyle was still there and Hanley came down expecting Kyle to back out of it and Kyle held his own, to bad it took all season.

no razzing from this guy dwfan, i totally agree. Kyle had the lane, when jeff seen kyle's nose, thats when he tried chopping kyle. And the move under caution was not befitting a "champion" And as usual lynch took hanely's side(can't piss off your superstar i guess). Anyways, WAY TO GO KYLE!!!
