3 of the top 7 were Canadian Road course racers.
Carpentier, Fellows, Valiante!

J.R was 29th in the 2nd practice. I hope he does well. He needs to show the americans that he has some talent if he hopes to go anywhere outside of Canadian racing

i also hope he does well but it is corpate Canada that has to see. the problem is that the money for a Canadian driver at this time will not come out of the states they have too many of their own. the only Canadian that i feel could pull non Canadian dollars  would be villeneuve.

yeah you make a point when it comes to Canadian dollars. But I think there are a few more names out there that can get the job done when it comes to Canadians! Ron Fellows gets to run in the road course cup races all covered by American dollars. but being a road course ringer as opposed to being there the whole schedule is a different thing

PLUS, he has already proven himself....DJ and JR have yet to do so in the big time.
