Anyone else out there catch the interview with Jason today on NASCAR radio??
I thought was another solid interview to promote the team and the series. I know B.A.R. is gonna love this one. He was asked if the sponsors were starting to support the series and his response was. That the level of sponsor support is not where they all wanted it but that there were a few teams in the series which would not have gotten their sponsorship without the NASCAR name associated with it.LOL Apparently all his main sponsors are ready and locked for next season. In the end he said that he wishes the season was longer and who on here doesn't wish that, I mean I'd even settle for 1 full month more of racing at this point in time. Can't wait till 4:30 today so I can head on over to Peterborough Speedway for the Autumn Colours weekend!!!!
Yes it should be a 4 races more I think.
did he mention he ran an Enduro car at Deleware this season to keep sharp??? LOL
And a mini-truck at Grand bend lol
Hey DW.. I heard the interview and Jason did a good job.
Your point.. that I would love what he said about Nascar and Sponsorship's... has me a little confused with regards to your statement's.
Jason said a few have gotten Sponsors because of the Nascar title.... A FEW !!
I can more then likely name them all for you, just so you know of the few....
Tow Truck in a Box... and .... hold on..... I know... there must be another one ...

DW- I need your help here.
Can you list the sponsors that have come on board because of NASCAR...
My mind went blank after Scott's deal with Tow Truck in a Box.
I do know that Jason's Sponsor's.... let me rephrase that- Ed's Sponsors,
are Snap-On, Artic Cat, Canadian Arm Forces and Fast Eddies, which were all deals on Team 3 long before NASCAR came along, and deals that Ed successfully put together.
Ed has them as sponsors, because they are Customers of Fast Eddies and Choko.
DW- You really need to fill us all in on the other sponsors that have signed on over the past 2 years because of NASCAR.
I prefer to like Jason's comment on the fact that Sponsorship's are no where near what everone thought they would be....
Now that's a true statement that holds allot of merit.
Again- I am not knocking Nascar, or Companies in Canada that could be sponsor's, but lets keep the facts straight so no one thinks that Nascar is the answer to everyones problem of finding sponsor's.
The best everyone had it in this deal was back in the CASCAR days, and I doubt very much that we will ever see it as good- regardless if this is NASCAR- ARCA- CASCAR or what ever.
By the way... Jason congratulations on your first Cascar Super Series/ Nascar win !!
