also nice to see Erie Pa lm driver Bill Catania make his first trip up here. Think he got 10th in both races and was actually up to 4th once after the carnage in the second fifty.
Saw NY lm driver Ron Nurmi in the crowd checking the place out. I've been plugging the races on the raceny.com forum and maybe the folks down there are becoming more aware of what's happening up here.
They ran a surprise mini stock little feature after the second lm 50 lapper. The power outage which was regional was very brief. Thank goodness it happened under caution!
What happened with Howse & Watsy makes you wonder if the restarts should be single file for the first three and then double up considering the narrow track?
Crowd was better and Flamboro's grandstands are huge in relation to Peterboro and Sunset where there is a constant movement of people between the pits and grandstands which doesn't happen at Flamboro. There were a lot of bodies in the pits and I was wondering if the gate in corner 4 to the pits from the main stand should be opened and manned (of course that means hiring an extra body). JMO but more bodies in the main spectator stands would look better to any potential sponsors.
One thing I've noticed on my two visits this year is that Flamboro permits spectators to bring in food in small coolers where at a lot of U.S. tracks, like Oswego and Holland, no outside food or drink is permitted.

Good thing they were under a caution when that happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was definately an interesting part of the night.
For my first trip there, I gotta say about 7 to a 7.5 out of 10 as it wasn't that bad, though not as good as other shows I've seen.
