A great crowd came out to watch probably the biggest night that Flamboro has in a season because every driver wants their name on the big Flamboro Memorial Trophy.
30 cars started the mini stock feature which featured a few irregular cars as rumour gets around that Flamboro has no mini stock tech...lol. And as the race went on, lap after lap some of Flamboro's top drivers seemed to encounter difficulties or were involved in a number of collisions. The biggest one happened and brought out a caution with just laps remaining as the rabbitt of Rob Hoskins, with flames coming off his right front wheel, lost control at the front of the pack, a number of cars were involved and the result put a Burrows honda in first place. With only one car really challenging him to the finish line a Burrows name will now appear on the Memorial Trophy. Biggest cheer of the night was for Hoskins tho as he got towed off and waved to his adoring fans.
Next out were the thundercars. This class has REALLY gotten tough. Its a race or get run over attitude with these guys and girls. And there were a few that got run over.
Lots of bends and dents, spins and crashes. Shawn Chenoweth survived the carnage to take the checkers and add his name to the Memorial Trophy.
The late models probably had the tamest feature of the night. Jason Shaw got the lead and led for most of the race while the guys behind just waited for someone to make a mistake and then freight trained em 4 or 5 at a time. But Jake Shaw had them covered and adds his name to the Memorial.
These results were as presented to the fans on the track before tech inspections.
great in car camera view taken by the "rabbitt man" himself as he starts in the 30 car feature and moves to the front and then has his crash...note the rear of the 31 dave bailey infront at the start..."its a girl".."olivia anne"...not "ricki bobbi anne" or something to that affect as suggested and listen to the crowd cheer him as he waves getting out...lol.

the "lapper" was lee winger from the dirt tracks in the "brewster baker special"...its pretty bent and such, but he wanted to try Flamboro i was told...been a fan of his driving for years and i met him for the first time last nite and in just those few minutes i dont think i met another guy that was so intense and excited about talking racing...really ahhhsumm to meet a guy like that.
maybe he should have been a bit more careful passing the slower car ,it's pretty clear thet something broke. your rite now a burrows name is on the huge trophy forever, yah baby.
