re the MF incident. 78 (the renumbered 76) got into the 32 who in turn got into the 27. MF appeared to go to the pits after the corner man in #2 told him he had a rear fender rub (from the 78 getting into him no doubt) after inspecting the 32 on track.  32 came out and was immediately black flagged.
Stopped and talked to the starter and then drilled the 78 under caution on his way to the pits. This did most of the damage to the 32 and 78 was able to do a quick repair and rejoin the field in his position. 32 was towed out into the spectator parking lot and had to load up out there.
4 shows there for me this year at Flammy and in each case I was appalled at the use/misuse of the black flag. (and misuse of the yellow on a late model restart at Octoberfest)
In one of the 30's tonite, 78 hit the 31 of Shawn McGlynn so hard, it shot him up the track and he lost 6 or 7 positions before he could recover. No black flag!
J.R. gets a black for incidental contact during the second 30 and does a stop and go on the track while green is still out and then goes to the pits.
Elliot (35) does a dumb three wide manouver in the mini (!) second feature which puts the q33 from the states into the wall and no black.
It just wreaks of intimidation and favourtism

the 32 was continually being tapped in the rear by the 76 arnott car being driven by shawn chenoweth....the left rear of the 32 was smoking pretty good but no black...then a caution came out for an incident and the turn 2 flagman informed him he had to take it to the its and fix it...u could see he wasnt happy and as he went around the track during the caution to pull off he pulled up by chenoweth and cut him off then headed pit side...after repairs he came back out on the track during the same caution and wanted his spot back...the flagman came down off the perch to talk to him but the turn 4 flagman stopped the 32 first and i guess told him he had to take tail, which he argued over....then the flagman went back up to his perch and dropped the black as the 32 drove up...the 32 stopped, got out, argued with the flagman, then got back in his car cut across the grass and drove chenoweth square in the door between turns 1 and 2...backed up and rammed him again driving him into the 36 as he went by...chenoweth was up on 2 wheels with the 32 under him at one point...then the tow trucks came and the officials...towed the 32 off, chenoweth went pit side and checked his car and came back out for the restart...i think i got that right...lol.
26 thunders, 33 ish minis, 50 fans in the main grandstand and i was told they had to come pitside for food cuz nothing was open on that side, so some stayed in the pits...
