Because I only travel to see real race cars...

I don't go to the races to see cars. I go to see what drivers can do with them.

Because race cars, from a winged Supermodified right down to the clunkiest of Enduro cars, are really just heaps of metal and rubber that just sit there and do nothing...until a driver hops into it and makes the magic happen.

So enjoy your "real" race cars if thats what floats your boat. I'll be enjoying watching real drivers...just like I do every week at Delaware.

And you can enjoy them...They're kinda slow and they don't make alot of noise...This allows for great conversation with your buddies.Hey,the late model race last year was great entertainment and a great warm up for the Supers.

Like I said,I'm going to see the purpose built race cars next week...Two nights...My only trip to Delaware for this year.Maybe if the AVSS can gets act together, they're might be a second excursion.Hey,you're track is getting my money and I really like the facility...Just not big on the "Grocery Getters"...

Night 1 in the books and Jason Sides takes the $10,000 feature win. Kraig Kinser set fast time with a new track record for the 3/8 mile clay oval at 12.047 sec for a 112.061 MPH. 😮 average speed. More fun tonight, if the weather gods play along. ;D
