The starting position helps give a good read on the race as well, tells if  there movement in the field.

I should add that Delaware also posts results here as many others do as well, very complete.

We're still working on the final display.  Laptimes, however, are now displayed under a more detailed system here: http://www.mylaps.com/results/showevent.jsp?id=651237.   These links have not yet made their way onto the website while we work on the best way to present this correctly.

I would agree, if we could have the times posted on the same page would be great.

I would agree, if we could have the times posted on the same page would be great.

All the times will be posted to the mylaps.com service - - drivers have been asking for the track to make use of this very powerful service since the AMB system came on board.

The results seen on the Delaware site are generated by a program called Speednet which, with the exception of time trials, does not track lap times as it is separate from the transponder system.

The speednet software is dedicated to race results and points only, while the AMB myLaps system is dedicated mainly to the tracking of laptimes and related statistics only.  The purpose of the transition is to (ultimately) improve the speed and accuracy in how results / points are posted, and the consistency by which lineups generated.

It is my plan to ultimately put together a video explanation of how the rMonitor, Speednet, & AMB software work together and how racers and fans can tap into the power of these systems through the DelaNET network at the track on their hand held devices or laptops.

The work to harness the power of these programs takes time, as I am not aware of any other track that makes use of all of these services.  Within a few weeks, it is my belief that we will have a results & timing and scoring system that Delaware racers / fans will truly be proud of.
