im only a race fan, but the renovations have made the track look great, but it looks really smooth for the late models, really crazy for the enduro, turn 4 is a lot narrower
When practice first started I thought the same thing. Started to look like instead of opening up another lane it actually made 4 narrower as you said and it was still one groove. Cars could get into 3 good but couldn't attack 4 as they did before the change. After a few sessions for each division as rubber was laid down more cars ventured into the lower lane. I left at the break so they still weren't using the new lane 100% but I think they will get there. The LMs seemed to be using the new lane as you would the apron to turn. Dropping their lefts onto the new surface but still running basically the old line. The last Enduro session I saw was the first round of really using the full inside lane and with the speeds they were going I can see some 3 wide racing off of 4 for sure. I think it will be good but the racers and fans will have to get used to it for sure. Great day out there today and a good turn out. One OSCAAR SLM was there and man can he fly around the track. The races should be good. Another thing that was interesting was the only modified in attendence was outpacing the LM field. Wider tires was the explaination. Jr Fitzpatrick owned #44 SS was also very fast but had a problem with excessive smoke that earned the black flag every run.
Now thats a turnout!

Can anyone give a sort of rundown on who was there for LM, Truck and SS?
