If this is in fact true that both Kevin and Amy have left the speedway, I have the say then that is very unfortunate. Kevin always had the best interest of the track and racers at heart, even though I didn’t always agree with the new direction, he was only attempting to improve things.
If this rumor is in fact true. Kevin you done a great job and there are many of us who respect your ability as a track manager/promoter.
Amy you were certainly the person who we all relayed upon for the day-to-day activity at the track, and you treated us all with respect. Both you and Kevin will be sadly missed. .
C'mon, a few of us are trying to keep an even keel here. 🙂 Its the guys zipping in from the other forums, threadcrapping, then zipping back out again that are the problem.

When I use to go to Delaware (I didn't go in 2005 because I didn't want to upset my now ex-boyfriend and in 2006 I went to Ohsweken) When I did go Brad and Darcey were still they and everytime I saw Brad he would shake my hand and thank me for coming out and supporting the track. I always offered my help to Darcey and his wife Val. I offered my help to Janice in the booth. Delaware Speedway and the staff were always so nice to me. If Amy needed anything she knew she could ask me and I would do it. I helped hang signs above the ticket windows. Delaware was a lot of fun then. I had my own body gaurds not that I needed you guys but thanks. 😉

Wherever the heck they come from, (it aint from the Delaware board) just to drop in, crap all over the speedway (for no real good reason) and then disappear is pretty damned shabby. I don't care how "senior" a member you are or what racing clique you belong to.
Yeah, I'm a positive poster. I see the good thats happened over the past year, the groundwork that's been laid. Yeah, its been a growing year. A transitional year. No argument here. But I'm there week in and week out, seeing what's going on. How many times has this joker been to our track lately? And he's telling us our optomism is misguided. Screw that. I take that personally.
