I noticed we'll be running twin 30s for the LMs this week. Here we are getting spoiled by having double features all the time, but it looks like we're back on track with the other divisions.

Assuming the races go on Friday, will that mean we're all caught up?

I admit, as a fan, the two feature format was quite a lot more entertaining than heat races...but I guess I understand that the guys might not want to do that every week either.

Well Barrie is running Twin LLM Features weekly, and I must agree with you...double features is more entertaning then Heats. but again it may not be what all the drivers want.

Barrie as far as I know is doing it to help the drivers get a better average for the Whelen Points, seeing as Delaware is also a Nascar Sactioned track the same would apply there, so the guys at Delaware may not mind doing it.

The good thing about double features is it is more exciting then heats. The bad thing for drivers is if you smash your car in the first one you could be s--t out of luck because you do not have a week to fix your car and a loss of points for the second one Maybe we could end up with 12 cars for the second 30 That could be boring

Quite right. Features offer due to length of race a better opportunity to  gain needed points. A good system for a make up race is what is fair to all flexible with programing .
