What was up with the announcers. They changed half way thru the night and sounded more play by play like. I liked it.
They're getting creative with their methods.
Before, they've always done it with 2 guys (John and Jared) in the tower and one (Chris) in the pits. Now they're trying 1 up top, one in the pits, and one guy down in one of the corners on the grandstand side. I know Jared was doing the wandering during the last enduro, but I'm not sure which guy it was on Friday. I think it was Jared again.
Seems to be working quite nicely. Good job by the announce team.
Nice. Thanks for the pics. Glad you got a before picture.
I noticed 33 had a rough night. But...still not bad for an old guy.
;D
Gary's going to be busier next week fixing the truck, finishing off his 440 outlaw and racing Fri night and Delaware & racing Sat & Sun at The Bend.
Anybody know what the yellow was for at about the mid point of the late model race?
(I believe it was the second yellow)From where I was standing (the turn 2 side of the tech garage) it appeared as though everyone was still running strong and didn't see any damaged cars.
No mystery flags, everything happens in response to a specific track condition:
Lap 17 - #06 spins in turn 4
Lap 17 - #28 spins turn 1
Lap 23 - #27 & #06 spin in turn 1
Lap 25 - #48 & #06 Spin in turn 1
Thanks to SS3 for the pics of the truck !!! I would have sent some to you shadow but my digital cam is screwed up. I think if Sid (owner) gets his way the truck may have a whole new look next week but not sure yet !!!

Tell him not to do it.
Tell him Shadow said so!
