Howdy all. Actually had the chance tonight to cover all 3 features. So without further adeiux... (or however the hell you spell that  ;))

Challenger Motor Freight Trucks

The race kicked off with a big melee in turn 1-2. When the dust cleared, Showler, Brooks and 75-Depuis were the last ones going agian, though there didn't appear to be a whole lot of damage. After the restart 4-Walzack takes the lead, followed by 04-Humphreys, 77-Zagorodny and 6-Zee.

Humphreys and Zagorodny stage a fierce battle for 2nd, while Zee gets shuffled back. 00-Johns jumps into 4th.

Meanwhile, 9-Fothergill is fighting his way up, making pretty quick work of much of the field, and by lap 6 he's in 4th. By lap 8 he's in 2nd. By the halfway point, he's in 1st and running away.

Now the order is Fothergill, 1-Thompson, Johns, 25-Powell and Bud Roy in the 0 truck. 01-Bloemendal makes a spirited last lap try to get around Roy for 5th, but no go.

1st to Fothergill, 2nd to Thompson, 3rd to Powell, 4th to Johns, 5th to Roy

That's 3 for 3 for the Throne Kings team. Had a chance last week to spend some time yacking with some of the Throne Kings ladies while they were drumming up some funds for Make-A-Wish. (the Make a Wish foundation is a great cause by the way...I've actually worked with them on fundraising in the past. If you get a chance, help them out) Anyway, they're nice people and the Throne Kings seem to be into Delaware this year in a big way. Congrats to them on their 3rd win.

Peterbilt of Ontario Super Stock

Your polesitter is 71 Bugg, starting alongside 1-Dadson, followed by 99-Nagy, and Smilin' Stephen Richmond in the 24 car.

At the green flag, Bugg jumps out in front followed by Nagy. The next few positions are a mad scramble and 28-Manning comes out of it in 3rd.

Nagy puts the pressure on early and passes Bugg for the lead and starts to run away, while 87-Ouelette wrests 3rd from Manning.

As Nagy puts a little distance in, the battle is for 2nd between Bugg, Ouelette and 98-Morneau, who has climbed into 4th. Not far behind, a second pack froms with Manning, 77-Lake, 2-Rijnen, and Richmond.

By the tenth lap, the top 4 are spread out just a little bit, but by lap 12 or so, they're all bunched up again. In the 2nd group, Rijnen is giving Lake a good working over...he eventually passes Lake.

Meanwhile, up front, Ouellete is starting to try hard to get around Nagy. While the two battle, Morneau is tucked in behind, seemingly just waiting for one of them to screw up. Its a side by side drag race between the top 2 cars. Oulette is making it stick on the outside, but just can't seem to close the deal.

Then on lap 18, disaster strikes on the frontstretch. A gaggle of cars get together, and when its over, Dadson and 50-Donals are sitting there, both heavily damaged. (Wish I'd seen what happened, but alas, I was busy watching the battle for 1st.) Brief clean up red flag, then back to it.

On the restart, Nagy and Ouelette pick up where they left off, while Morneau has to head IN because he's having problems. (Sorry Chip!) The 98 car is a factor no more this evening.

On lap 21, Ouellete changes tactics and dives low on Nagy. Nagy tries to hold him off but Ouellete forces his way through in turn 3-4. (It wasn't pretty, but I'd say it was clean) He is followed by Rijnen and Lake. Meanwhile the 3 car of Perkins is up to 5th. And thats the way it ends.

Hard fought win to Oulette, 2nd to Rijnen, 3rd to Lake, 4th to Nagy and 5th to Perkins.

Great race by the Super Stock guys tonight!

APC Late Model

Your polesitter is 10-Kennedy with with 77-Verhoeven alongside, followed by 7-Delisle and 6-Pearn.

Jesse jumps to the early lead followed closely by Verhoeven, then Delisle and Pearn. Pearn starts working on Delisle early while Kennedy and Verhoeven put some distance in.

By lap 9, the front two are well in front, while a tight second pack has formed of Delisle, Pearn, Sheridan, Doerr and Lindsay.

The first caution of the night comes on lap 17 when the 106-Wild loops it in 3-4. This gets the next pack of Clarke, Urlin, and Robblee a little closer to the fray, but on the restart, disaster somehow strikes with Delisle getting out of line and catching Robblee up in it too. Another caution. Now Clarke is up to 7th.

After the restart, that was it for Kennedy as Verhoeven finally gets past him. Unfortunately for the 10 car, he basically gets freight trained now as the next 5 cars in line get by as well. But now WIld gets around again, this time in 1-2 with 27-Box. Another caution. Wild's just having a rough night tonight!

By lap 25, Pearn is on Verhoeven's bumper, Doerr is up to 3rd and Urlin and Lindsay battle for 4th. Pearn is all over Verhoeven but can't make the pass, while 38 Hooker moves into 6th.

Try as Pearn could, he couldn't manage to get around the 77 car tonight.

Win to Verhoeven, 2nd to Pearn, 3rd to Doerr, 4th to Sheridan, 5th to Urlin.

Great run by Dion. Good to see him back in the fold. Honorable mention to Rob Clarke, who looked a little shaky in recent weeks, but seems to be getting it together a lot better now.

Thats it for this week folks. Sorry I couldn't get pitside tonight. We'll see you guys next week.

And enjoy tomorrow night's NASCAR show if you go!

Hey Shadow.I was at Delaware last night.Nice report.I wish you were right, about the 98 waiting for one of the top 2 to mess up.That was about all the car had.Ever since we had to clip the car, from the hard hit into the turn 1 wall two weeks ago.The car hasn't been the same, and it finally GAVE UP in the feature.Ray came down pit road and told me,it felt like something was rolling over,in the front end and he heard a grinding noise in the rear.He went back out just to see if he could get a better feel,of what it might be,when the tranny gave up.I guess we know what the grinding noise was now.Anyways,we'll fix it and hopefully we can get the car back up to the speed,it was running before the big crash.CONGRATS to the #87 guys!
