For anyone who took the time to have a look at the front end of the Corvette, there wasn't a mark on it, other than a nick about an inch long that ran on a 45 degree angle across the front of the bumper.  There wasn't any spots of Viper red paint on the Vette, nor were there any scratches, cracks, dings, dents, or signs of contact.  About the only thing the Vette might have been guilty of is taking the air off the spoiler of the Viper.
I watched the video a few times, and it screams inconclusive, but the lack of damage on the front of the Vette scream one-car incident.

Sorry Jamie but you didn't look close enough at the Viper. There was definatly paint from the Vette under the centre of the rear valance? of the Viper. Alot of us saw the spot after most of the crowd left it while in the pits.

err what???? what video were you looking at? First of all, there's no way you can get either one of those cars loose with "AIR" as you put it at 65 to 80 mph coming out of turn 4 @ Delaware in a STOCK Corvette or Viper. And that's assuming those guys were actually going that fast (doubt it...) You can't even do that with a Late Model at Delaware... the only way that kind of 'air' happens is when you shove your nose into the ass of the car in front of you...

Second of all, the Corvette definitely can be seen closing in Viper's bumper directly behind it (twice in fact 1st time, entering turn 3, 2nd time at the apex of 4) and then stuffing his nose into it, lifting it just past the apex, which is why the Viper took the wicked left turn as the LR wheel lost grip and then gained traction and attempted immediate correction to the right - to the wall. I'd love to see Delaware's tapes.... I bet it's clear as a bell.

The Corvette driver is an idiot and didn't care what he did...hope he's banned from the Speedway. I bet there's no liability or guilt (cuz he's an idiot) on his part. Too bad it wasn't him that was photographed with his licence plate for all to see.

Happened right infront of us and I can assure you the Vette got in the back of the Viper.
