OK...here we go. That was good racing all day on Sunday.....BUT.....the cars are TOO fast to have 38 on the track . Time trial....top 18 make the field straight up. Final qualifier for the rest (25 -30 Laps) , top 10 are in plus have 2 promoters choice. Now you have a top notch group to race and not get in each other's way (due to lack of speed).....those that didn't qualify would still receive payouts as per 31st on down.
Second note: to ALL the DELAWARE STAFF and organizers.....GREAT JOB !!

DB1 you are saying the cars are to fast to have 38 cars on the track at one time and you are saying 30 ( 18 top qualifers,10 final qualifer,2 Promoters choice ) The only difference between the car  difference of 38 to 30 would be approx maybe 10 Laps before you catch the slower cars for lapping.Remember in a race of a big field 30 or 38 and maybe as low as 25 you cannot tell how long it would be before lapping would start.You can never predict that because you can never tell when a car will go sour and break down.You ( Delaware ) want to promote this race as the Great Canadian Race and starting 30 cars makes no sence. Remember fans want to see big fields and is this what management wants big fields.I think so.Run this race right and you will get instead of 42 cars attempting to run for the big money but up to 50 to maybe 60 cars to qualify and if you want to make it only 30 cars to qualify Well then you will have a problem a lot of your out of town cars will not show up and then you would have just your regular Friday cars (Approx 20-22 ) and eight extra.Please donot go back to 30 and leave it at 38

I think they used to run 43 cars at Delaware. I think it was during the Export A Series. That was when the track was in good shape.
