I can see where there might be more late model teams in operation in May then Sept (that is more whose budget or engines haven't expired at that part of the season) but think a Saturday - Sunday double header would have been great (for example the late models on Saturday of Labour Day weekend and the mods on Sunday).
My biggest worry about the Whelen mods is that only the top 15 in points (Whelen mods point fund only pays the top 15) might show and any cars without a chance won't bother because of the cost associated with equiping their crew with passports. As far as some of Western NY mods helping out, their ROC engine package would be the equivalent of bringing a knife to a gun fight.
Interesting that the second ISMA show is now an afternoon show!
OSCAAR-I really don't know if they're up to handling a big half mile and with recent performance, it might be a long show
Disappointed that repaving still seems to be conjecture only with nothing concrete (no pun intended)

the super lates have run at mosport, a half mile track, for many years now. They'll be able to handle deleware just fine. My only concern would be that it might be a small car count. I hope not.

They ran at Delaware a couple of years ago, they ran without incident, maybe if there was a battle or two, and some close racing, then there might have been incidents.
