I'm hoping jay will be a gentleman, it would be a nice change.... ;D, and not kick my ass  to hard at his home track.
Ass kicking or not, we look forward to our first trip to Deleware with a car in tow.

It's only been a "Tradition" of 3 or 4 years. Now its like a throw back to the May 2-4 Mopar weekend! Lets hope the Whelen Mods become a fixture for many years to come on Labour Day weekend

My first thought was "you're kidding right?"

But then I guess it depends how you look at it. Since 81, Labor Day has always been a big LM race...whether that be the current ones, CASCAR style or SLM back in the Hanley/Beiderman days. For a tour to come in, even the NASCAR Mods, is a pretty radical departure. What will be missing is the cream of our own crop being highlighted in that big year end race.

Sure, DJ will be there but I think we all know that he's basically there as an exhibition player. (As far as I know he's not running the Mod tour next year.) So all the talent on the track, with the exception of DJ, will be from somewhere else.

That will be way different.
