Anyone know when the 2012 rules will be released... both calls and email go unanswered..
Going by Delaware tradition the new rules for the race car you spent all winter preparing for the new season will probably be out two weeks before opening day.No pressure at all. ::)

What e-mail address are you using for the track? It should be info@delawarespeedway.com. If you have sent it to the correct e-mail, let me know so I can be sure we're not losing messages somewhere along the way. All phone messages left on the general extension do receive a call back (but a message must be left for this to occur). That general extension is (519) 652-5068 Ext 201.
No division, to my knowledge, is receiving a significant rules change that would radically alter vehicle preparation. There were a few minor updates in the pipe that were discussed openly at the driver's meeting, such as the adjustment to the trucks ride height back to previous height from a few seasons ago (as I understand it).
As part of the ownership transition, it is taking a bit of extra time for the speedway to make its way through the rulebooks this year. As per the drivers meetings, finalized rulebooks are expected for the first part of March, providing time to complete any research needed after the driver's meetings.
The speedway, to my knowledge, has never officially released its rulebooks two weeks before opening day. They are generally out in good time for teams to familiarize themselves with what is in them and are typically not surprising in content, since any major update would most likely be discussed at the driver's meetings.
All the best,

Hey John. You were looking for a way to get back the enduro of the 80's. Check out what Barrie is doing.

Basically what the rules were when enduro started. Have no more than three races a year and have a good purse and you will get the car count up. Lots of taxi cabs out there and a good business opportunity for an established shop to strip and bar them.
That package is very much in line with the updated Bone Stock rules package. Hats off to Barrie for not reinventing the wheel on this.
