I've heard a lot of pavement racers with open face helmets complain about the raceivers...Dirt racers don't seem to have as many issues, since they all wear full-face helmets.

Wish I had known about the EarFuse product line! Very good prices on their stuff.

Just bought Semi Custom ear pieces from Sampsom Racing Electronics, delivered yesterday, $140 USD. Fit is real nice, and will test them at practice Thursday to see what the audio is like in car.
Got to be better than crappy earbuds and 100 mph tape.

Raceceivers are known to eat batteries. You should  change or charge the batteries every race weekend. Alot of people forget to adjust the squelch. the best way to hear is with custom ear molds. They have come down in price , I believe through Racing Radios this year custom molds are $79. You can have molds made , send them to R.R. and they can make the ear buds.
One other thing , do not look for my Scanner Trailer at the Canadian Tire Series this year. There is no market in Canada for this product , it cost me way too much money.

Hi
Squeich  is a static filter. Their is a on/off control . it should be on, an indicator (on the bottom right) will tell you its on. Also you should be using " restrictor" type sparkplugs in your engine.  Non restrictor plugs will also give you static. When you got your raceceiver you should of got a sheet on how to use it.If not try www.raceceiver.com ,it should be on there web site.
