I thought the black flag for the 5 truck last night was for me, so I got off the track!  I can't hear a damn thing through the Raceceiver, do any of you guys have a particular set of headphones or any ideas to make it louder?

I'm not sure what Delaware does, but at other tracks, if the black flag is waived and multiple cars are in view of it, they will flash the # of the car on the position status board. A couple of years ago out team was in the same position and got caught up in someone else's black flag at the Chase for the Colours.

Good ear bud phones are available, I've used everything from an Ipod set made by Apple to Kenwoods, One challenge is the shape of a human ear inlet, not all are capable of round pieces. I've modified BlueTooth rubber seals made by Blue Ant to eliminate airspaces. You might want to try a wireless phone store to see if they have left overs, sometimes they do and it can improve your hearing of the raceciever audio.

I hate ear buds.I tried many different sets with little to no success.I finally ended my frustration by going to pricess auto and buying a headset for $5 in the surlpus section, removed the speakers from the headpiece and mounted them in the helmet with velcro...no more problems hearing the 2 way radio or raceceiver.

Not a bad idea at all, I may just do that.
