i know, i know, they're all real race cars, but the mods look the most purpose built. and there's no just charging into a corner and laying the fender to someone to make a pass.

yes, it's the smallest division right now, but the racing is as good as in any division. there have been 5 different feature winners, same as in late models.

what could be more entertaining than watching the 3 car work the outside? or the 57 absolutely driving the wheels off his car every lap? or the 1 car putting on a consistent lap clinic? or the 88 or 39 charging through the field?

This poll has garnished almost as much interest as the poll on how I should spend my 50/50 money!

Even though I didn't vote Mods, I agree 100 percent. Maybe for me this goes back to watching the old coupes run when I was a kid. The neat thing about those coupes, and about the mods as well, is that each one had/has its own distinct character. They don't all look like the same car painted different.

Sometimes I like to sit back and imagine an alternate Delaware where the LM class didn't exist and the Mods were the top draw. Imagine Robblee, Sheridan and Kennedy and all those guys gang leading a 28 car field of Modifieds. That'd be pretty sweet.
