Well I don't have a full report as I did not attend the race but I can pass along some information from the Mod race at Sauble today.
First of all, there were 22 cars in the field which is an awesome car count.
Feature race:
1. Paul Shipway
2. Jamie Cox
3. Barry Newman
6. Stephen Richmond (had to add that one)
Sounds like it was a good clean race.
Nice to hear of that stellar car count for the Mods in what was a invitational race for them essentially..Sounds like the Delaware cars cleaned up
there where 23 cars that showed up, 1 car had a transmission failure and was sidelinned early. qualifying procedure was different but good, and had a good mix af cars throughout the field. I believe the race went caution free for 24 laps, and had a few minor issues after that. Best MOD race i've seen in a long time, possibley of any division.
I would really like to see some of this is there video or photos of it anywhere?
The MRA Invitational at Sauble was amazing! Too bad everyone couldn't make it there. Our Delaware drivers were top-notch. I was doing some video recording for John Houghton, so maybe he can post some clips for everyone to see? Way to go mod drivers and a big congrats to the Shipway clan....you guys deserved the win!
