It should be noted that no other track on the schedule got a second date either. 😉

Shadow I hear you when you are not that enthused about the NCaTS but this is supposed to be our Cup series. Unless we show support there won't be sponsers to back additional teams. The product is good IMO and will get better. NASCAR could give us a break on the price to get the casual people interested but barring that I still like the series. I thought last years race was a good one notwithstanding some of the wacky rules that got in the way of the race.

Actually don't get me wrong. I'm not necesarily a nay-sayer. I enjoy the NCTS races. I guess I just have this fear that our other good stuff, particularly the APC 300, is gonna have to go if we get another NCTS race. I'm happy with the sched laid out the way it is.

I guess I only mean that the NCTS is not, IMO, good enough to add a second event to replace one of the other great events we have at Delaware.

A meet and greet at the Agriplex for NCaTS and / or APC 300 guys on the Friday or Saturday would be great PR. Get casual drop ins and sell tickets etc, etc. Get the transporters to stop there first on the way to the track.

Hmmm...I seem to recall the stands at Delaware being pretty full on a certain Friday night this year...despite some fairly high ticket prices...  😉
