The "new" website looks like junk. I can't believe that a NASCAR sanction track went from something that looked extremely professional to something that a 5 year old kid made. They say "Don't judge a book by it's cover," But if I was going to decide on if I was going to visit Delaware, I totally would not based solely on its website.
A website is the face of a company. This is no longer the 90s, or even the 80s where your presence was other forms of media. The website for any company IS THE FACE. If a website looks like crap (which the delaware site does) it give a VERY STRONG impression to people who know nothing about it, that it is crap throughout.
I am very disappointed. Go back to the old site. It was 100 times more better than the current site.
Well the navigation has improved but the color pallete looks like it was developed in 256 color setting almost VGA. Sorry it needs some zip. And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we have the schedule and special events stuff PDF'd or printer friendly? I would get in crap from my bosses if they found out I was cutting and pasting making posters for the plant and offices in stead of working LOL. I can print on 17X11, 8.5X11, and 8.5X14. HINT HINT
They changed it around today aaaaaand it still looks like poopy
I liked the old one better and as far as I know I never saw anyone complain about it.....and here we have a thread dedicated to the new one...
Oh dear God! My eyes are burning. Kill it with fire.
As a web developer myself, I know for a fact that you never ever ever ever make a test site live.
The delaware site is a test site. You always work on it offline. That's like handing in a paper and editing it while your teacher is marking it. Bad.
