Yeah...I think we'll do something like that. I think I've even got some tickets. We'll use standard beer tickets I think, just so we're not getting the tix confused with Del's 50-50 draw.
Ok so here's the update. Everything will go as in the initial post.
There will be an envelope at both the Souvenir Tower and the Pit Concession all weekend. Hoppy will have one while he's on duty Friday night, and the Super Stock #3 team will have one with them on Friday night. I'll be taking donations myself as well on Sunday. (I made a yellow Tshirt that says CRO Shadowracer on the back.)
When you make a donation to one of these 5 parties, you will be given a ticket to tear in half and put back in the envelope...that's your ballot for the 2 prizes. (Did I say TWO??) the Draw will be made on Sunday night, and the ticket number will be posted here. There will also be a sheet of cardstock where you can let Teri know who you are if you wish.
Now for the second prize. The first is the Perkins ride along on Sunday Sept 16th. The second is a prize donation from Hoppy. If your number is drawn 2nd, you'll get a Hoppy the Clown party visit for the child in your life. Standard birthday party is a clown magic show and balloon creations for up to 15 kids. 100 dollar value, subject to booking availability, and limited to areas within a half an hour from London....and it doesn't have to be a birthday either.)

We don't know how to thank you enough for all your help and support. I am off to the hospital now. I did learn of some good news through the night and that is his hip is better so hopefully Matt will be able to have his split taken off. He has it mostly ripped off as it has been bothering him. lol He isn't one to lay still. I am hoping that because he isn't one to lay still that will be good to helping him with rehab. Matt does have nerve damage in his right leg causing the lower part not to be able to move. Such as the foot. Time will tell the whole story in that department. There is no movement to be regrained on the left side the Doctors say.

The Perkins' gang has gone the extra mile and made an offer to sweeten the deal a little bit. Take out one of the SuperStocks and put on a 1/2 dozen or so laps on the Famous Delaware 1/2 mile.
Bring a friend, spouse or youngster. Have them ride along with you (an extra full 5 ponit harness and race seat is installed).

Have Andrew take each of you out and show you what it's like to run close to the wall and throw the car into turn 3!!!
And of course, enjoy a hot dog, a hamburg, a trip down the buffet table and an afternoon of bench racing.

I've done both...its awesome! Andrew will give you a white knuckle experience for sure, just in case you ever wondered how quickly the wall comes up on you coming out of 2. (then again, I asked for it...he'lll take it easy on you if that's what you want)
