Labour Day Weekend at Delaware Speedway

The biggest race weekend of the season has arrived at Canada’s Finest Short Track. This weekend Delaware Speedway celebrates its 61st season of racing with a thrilling lineup of Labour Day Weekend competition.
The weekend lineup features something for everyone with great racing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tickets are available through the track website or at the gate the day of the events. Weekend value passes are also available as well as weekend camping.
FRIDAY NIGHT – Great Local Racing!

The racing lineup on Friday, August 31 features Coca-Cola Super Stocks, Demar Aggregates Trucks, a GAW Recycling Enduro 35-Lap Challenge, and a straight-up King of the Hill Spectator’s Race.
King of the Hill Spectator’s Racing allows spectators to enter their own street legal, street driven vehicles in one-on-one fun single-lap races around the legendary half-mile speedway at Delaware in support of Jesse’s Journey. The speedway will be providing prizing of $50 to the top mini-van in competition, $50 to the top truck, and $300 to the winner and $100 to the runner up.

CHEAPSKATE SATURDAY NIGHT – $10 Admission!
Saturday, September 1 is a real bargain. $10 general admission and affordable family passes make this event a must-see. Featuring the Lucas Oil Sportman Cup and Bone Stock Chaos Cars there is sure to be plenty of excitement on the track. The Sportsman Cup will be running qualifying races and a 100-lap main event, the crazy Bone Stock Chaos Cars will be running two races (a ladies only event as well as an open race).
The speedway is also offering special access to the VIP Lounge on Saturday. For $20 fans can purchase a VIP Lounge Access pass. Only 40 lounge passes will be available for the event, which can be purchased online.
The evening also features open practice earlier in the evening at 6:00 pm for the FT Garage Late Models who are preparing for Sunday’s Keystone Light 200.

SUNDAY – The Great Canadian Race Keystone Light 200

Sunday is the 30th running of the Great Canadian Race. The Keystone Light 200 features top drivers from Delaware Speedway and across the province in the most historic event at the track. Andrew Gresel (#81) of Hepworth is the defending winner of the event and enters the race just nine points back from championship leader Mark Watson (#3) of St. Thomas. Gresel also enters the event as the defending champion of the series. The afternoon also features the chance to meet the drivers at a special autograph session.

Im sure the pit gates are open alot eariler!!
Practice is 5:00 to 6:00.
The track has also added 10 lap heats to the sportsman program but as far as I know they don't affect the positions derived from the time trials. The track should have spent their own money to have a fill the time if they didn't schedule enough racing.
