Yeah...what are you gonna do eh? We waffled for quite a while on going home, but in the end we had a younger one who was wet, miserable and a little scared of being out in the lightning, so we cut out. Sorry I missed the Enduro Main...sounds like Dougy had a pretty good showing for himself.

So here's the brief rundown on the events I did catch.

Enduro heat 1-Starts off with a 3 way battle for the lead between 84, 156, and 82. Doesn't take long to hit lap traffic and once that happens, 82 and 156 try to put themselves in the same lane coming off 4. They go down the frontchute leaning on one another and it ends with 156 spinning into the inside pit wall, and the 82 piling into the outer wall hard. Fair bit of damage on the 82 and he needed to be towed off. On the restart, back int efield car 80 goes around ont he backstretch and nearly collects Dougy109. Once they got it going, 84 inherited the lead and didn't look back.
1st to 84, 2nd to 22, 3rd to 74

Heat 2 - Great 4 way battle between 37, 114, 38 and 39 for the lead, but soon 64-Book makes it a fivesome and manages to pick off 2nd before the checkers fly. 1st to 39-McCullough, 2nd to Book, 3rd to 37.

Truck Heat 1 was all 01-Bloemendal. He got ou front and stayed there, looking particularly strong after blowing up the week before. Bloemendal was also leading the truck feature in similar fashoin when the rains came.
1st to Bloemandal, 2nd to 77-Zagarodny, 3rd to 7-Clark

Truck Heat 2 - featured a battle for 3rd between 00-Johns and 56-Showler. There's some contact (the standard truck division kind of contact) and Showler goes around, but no caution. 1st to Fothergill, 2nd to McCaw, 3rd to Johns.

LM Heat 1 - Heat 1 featured the return of 77-Verhoeven, who proceeded to give the rest of the heat field a spanking.
1st to Verhoeven, 2nd to Watson, 3rd to 21-Pritiko

LM Heat 2 had Lindsay out in front followed by Thompson and Kennedy. Kennedy was faster and by the last lap had had enough of Thompson holding him up and gave him a little help to get out of the way.
1st to Lindsay, 2nd to Kennedy, 3rd to 81-Greisel

Sounds like a fun feature for the enduro guys. Sorry I missed it. Honestly, driving down Oxford St half an hour later up to my axles in water led me to think they might ultimately have to call it. Too bad too. The features were shaping up to be interesting.

Shout outs to the MRA (modified) guys, who had Smiling Stephen's open wheel ride up top tonight.

Likewise a shout out to Mr Bev Kennedy (Jesse's dad) whom I found myself standing beside at one point and striking up a conversation with. Nice fella!

God wiling, I might be able to pry myself away and get out for tomorrow night. Here's hoping to see some friendly faces and great racing!

Oh...and the Pic 3. According to the rules of the road, we just go with the features that were run. So if its just the Enduros, then that's how it lays. We'll tally them up before the weekend is over.

That is not cool. >:(
Give us a better description and we can keep an eye out for it today. Anyone stupid enough to steal something at a race track is stupid enough to keep carrying it around. All my years going to NASCAR and local races I have never had anything stolen. It is like there has always been some kind of code, especially at NASCAR races. You steal something you will be found if you know what I mean.

If the culprit has any smarts they will turn the bag into the Track lost and found with all contents intact!
