Howdy all. Just a brief check in from me. (Its the "need to be on the road by 6am" version  😉 ) Hopefully some other guys can jump in.

Official results are HERE

What a great Super Stock race tonight. 35 lap feature that started with 76-Reid and 60-Ott (in the "It Aint Easy Being - um - Yellow" Camaro) taking the lead in the early going. Soon Fothergill was up front fighting for a spot and was in the lead by about lap 10 or so. The battle was a little further back between Smith, Lake, Lawrence and a solid running number 17-McNichol. Towards the end Fothergill slowed up a bit, looked like a tire going down, and the whole field descended on first place. First Reid got back past the 33, then Smith. Then Smith and Reid got together as Smith attempted the pass into first diving into 1, Reid cut down and they both ended up out. Then McNichol spun in 3 leaving the final battle between Lawrence and Lake. Lawrence took the race. Unbelievable show.

Truck Feature won by Rijnen and was also a pretty hot contest, although I didn't see most of it. Gemmell ended up with some damage partway through, as did Bloemendal.

Mods won by Newman. 2nd place to Richmond, who held off a determined 38-McCullough for most of the race.

Sorry, that's it this week guys. I'll tally up the pic 3 before Sunday night.

A lot of flat tires last night I assume due to the beating and banging. Nothing dirty just good racing from my view. Where were the rest of the Mods? Great racing in the trucks and SS and surprisingly close racing in the Mods considering there were only 7 cars. The 3 SS had a tough night. It was mused that he kicked a black cat into a mirror breaking it while walking under a ladder. A couple guys did some back to front runs due to spins. The 33 SS, 11 SS and the 55 truck come to mind. All in all an entertaining night and a good sized crowd on hand.

The train races were....um....er......cough.....the kids on hand probably enjoyed them. The first few laps were actually entertaining but three two car teams does not a train race make. Good effort by the track and the teams to get it together but........

I would like to thank all of our competitors for the warm welcome back we recieved. I would also like to thank the Lakes as without their help we would not have been there. Thank-you J.R and Fitzpatrick Motorsports for the help and the tire donations. And a Very Special thank-you to Chris McComb for his outstanding contributions to our team! This guy about made me cry on Friday night!!! I Sincerely think Delaware Speedway is the best place we have ever had the pleasure of racing at!! Thanks everybody from the #60 team and Jake "The Juice Box Ott"
