Aside from that...this business with the hearsay on the truck top 5. In a perfect world, we would know, simply becuase no DQs were announced, that there were none. But that stuff is taken care of behind closed doors so to speak. Same with the business of the 97 car's shenanigans 2 weeks ago, or even the business of Watsy taking a swat at Robblee...or even Sheridan taking the same swat at Watsy last year....which I beleive there was no suspension for.
See, I, nor likely anyone else for that matter, would have issue with whatever ruling was made in any of these cases. (unless it was horribly inconsistent) But there should be NO REASON for anyone to have to speculate on what the rulings were in the first place. No ruling? Suspension? Probation? Any legitimate and serious sporting sanctioning body, whether it be hockey, football, or stock car racing, will make its decisions known.
BUT
Do it behind closed doors = speculation and mistrust. Mistrust = Negativity. Negativity = Message Board Garbage. Message Board Garbage = simmering hard feelings = more message board garbage.

My answer is no. I enforce the CRO Code of Conduct to be fair to all parties. Anything related to the above equation is the problem of the guys who started it...either through action or IN-action.
