What a fun night!! i really enjoyed the racing, it was pretty eventful, i was a bit dissappointed with a few of the decisions that were made- one guy seemed to be very upset and started to throw what appeared to be his hans safety device at nother car-- really safe, another driver decided to show his respect for one of the "superstars" by spinning him out at the start finish line... UNDER CAUTION, simply jaw dropping. Amazing racing up front though, a big shout out to the 25 of cole powell, ran great in the feature there. Congratulations for kyle busch on his win, and to DJ on the track record I have a new respect for all 3 nascar drivers now for the stuff they can do on a race track
p.s.- a little side note not to be a whiner but when i was paying to get in, asked for the student price, had student card and all, and she asked how old i was, and i was charged full price because she told me students were under 17 today, A tad bit ricidulas on that side a student is a student but whatever, to each their own i guess there are worse ways to try and gain support ??? ??? ::)
What an entertaining night!!! I am in no way a Kyle Busch fan, but he and DJ ran one helluva race tonight (cleanly)! All the other tomfoolery just added to the show! Glad to see the Cup guys wern't afriad to mix it up either. The deal with Sheridan and Leffler was great. But the move Pistol Pete layed on "Root-a-mann" took the Gold in the Special Olympics!
Tonight made me say outloud "I Love Delaware Speedway"
PS- there was a serious crash that closed Gideon Dr that FUBAR'd traffic on the way out.
Amazing Racing. Some of the best I have ever seen. To my surprise Kyle Bush was not stuck up and an a-hole but rather nice and gentleman like. Kindof interesting to see that he does have a nice side to him. Lots of drama in the pits, Urlin apparently is not too popular.
And yes the road was closed. Got home at about 1:00am so yea you do the math. Stayed around went in the pits talked a bit no big deal.
