Darrell is doing ok. Much better then the car. The car is destroyed. We are looking at differant options at this point for the remainder of this season. We will be out this friday in a borrowed car and probably for a few weeks. I have mentioned to the race director that we feel a message should be sent that if you deliberately wreck a fellow competitor you should be parked for an extended period of time. Hopefully a few of the other super stock drivers agree and contact Ron as well. Thanks to everyone who came over and offered there assistance/ cars. It means alot to us. Anybody who thinks we are not going fast enough to worry about having the safety equipment that the track mandates should reconsider. Without the containment seat and the Defender (head & neck restraint) the injuries or worse would have occured. See you all friday night. Well almost everybody.
I know I don't have to mention it but if there's anything we can do from the JWO 60 team to help you out just let us know
I genuinely thank everyone for their concern. Myself as a driver, aside from being incredibly angry about the situation, physically I am fine. Needed a couple days off to try and calm down. As my dad said, we are still exploring a couple of options and figuring out what the heck to do. I agree a more severe penalty should be instilled based on the severity of the wreck (I'd call it an accident, but everyone who was there knows it was far from that). Everything is still where it is supposed to be, I am no more messed up than I was before the race started. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there friday and thank you again to everyone for their help, offers and concern. There really is no better division to be a part of in Ontario.

Glad to hear there were no ill affects. That looked like one hard hit 😮
Maybe JR will let you borrow that sweeeet #14!
Darrell, I watch the race in corners 3 and 4 and I saw exactly what happened just before the "accident"...the 17 checked up for the car in front of him heading into corner 4 and I saw your nose dip trying to brake for him but you ended up tapping him and he went a little out of shape, you pulled of a heads up move by sliding underneath him...then you went out of site and next thing was the red flag..
