re the Lucas Oil race, Doerr hit water laid down by Bob Merrifield's busted rad, spun, and Connelly followed him up the track after hitting the water also. There was no contact between the cars. That spot was already slick from speedy drive used to clean up a puddle left by Chad McGlynn. Not sure why Chad's car was allowed out on the track after that either.
Connelly though, drove through Kenny Forth, in an effort to maintain second spot in points in the series.
