The meeting will provide the opportunity for competitors to hear from and meet with the track’s owners and the speedway office staff, as well as to provide input and ideas on the upcoming season.
maybe the input there might change a little with new owners ....all u delly guys can hope ....delly great place to run....if it the same as every other track they do it there way no matter who likes it .....CVM you have a vote its a club and thats the way all race classes should be ...the tony era left a really bad memory with me ....we run there 2-3 times a year paul treats us like best friends ,but never say never i could end back there some day ,but probaly not .....good luck guys all the best cvm 95
orward the balance of the seasonAfter meeting with Justin and Manny in regards to next season, I can tell everyone in Super Stock what the proposed changes will be:
1. Prelude to Season opener - Trucks and SS race together. 25 points to start, with 1 bonus for lap lead, 1 bonus for overall winner
2. Season Opener most likely June 1
3. Expect all features to be considerably longer in length with the idea of strategy and equipment preservation coming into play
4. Very little contact between cars will be tolerated. Besides the black flag the possibility of points deduction for body slamming in the corner, dive bombing, blocking, spinning out others etc.
5. Good possibility of new faces in tech. Expect it to be alot stricter, and there will be absolutely nothing changing after the rules are set.
6. Most likely rules will remain unchanged from 2011.
7. If there is ever a reason to try something not covered in the rules to improve the racing or car, a driver from outside the top 10 will be selected to test
8. Crate engines will not be repaired or rebuilt and still be considered as a crate engine, therefore falling under built rules.
9. Enduro cars that run under 24 seconds/lap will require the same forward bars and safety equip. as SS and will be encouraged to race on Friday nights with a seperate purse.
10. Incentives for visiting cars including the possibility of using headers or 4bbl and seperate purse
11. No handicapping average, just straight draw for heats, inversion of previous week's finishing order for next feature
12. Catching teams who have intentionally modified their crate engine and punishing severely, perhaps in the order of preventing the possibility of finishing in the top 10 for the season
These guys are looking for your thoughts on these items,so now's your chance
now your talking about getting some sauble cars too delaware for the super stock specials..let the cars put a 4 barrel on..smoking JOe prooved in september he cant keep up on the straightaways.. then all you have to do is get flamboro to allow ford rear ends then you will get the cars from the new hamburg area too ..
3's a terrible idea, do I even have to say why? 4's a weird one, to a point....5 is good.......what do the mods do for 7? LOL.....8 is the way it should be, if a crate is opened up how would anyone not be able to call that a built, long overdue.......11 flat out sucks, draw for heats is terrible, give slow guys a chance at the odd heat win
