Here is a race recap i have done for my website:

FT Garage Late Models

22 late models lined up on the front straightaway for the feature race. The feature race was 40 laps in length and saw the #5 of Jay Christie line up on the pole position. Starting on the outside of row one was the #8 of Marc Jacobs. The first caution of the night was on lap 8 for a minor crash in turn 3 and 4. All cars drove away from the accident scene. Among the cars involved was the #37 of Elliot who was third in points entering the night. Just two laps after taking the green flag a caution on lap 10 for a double spin in turn 1 with the #96 and #1 of Jacobs going around. On lap 15 the #8 of Marc Jacobs went to the lead passing the #5. On lap 17 a caution for a multiple car spin in turn 1 with 4 cars going around including the #37 Elliot again, the #21 of Pritiko, #38 of Hendricks and #77 of Reid. All four cars were okay with minimal damage. Similar to earlier in the race a quick caution flew but the field was quickly lined up and let loose with just over 20 laps to go. On lap 19 the #100 of Doug Stewart blew up in a huge fire ball entering turn 3. The red flag was shown immediately, the driver was okay, the car... was not.

At this point race leader Marc Jacobs was looking at his first feature win with all kinds of tallent just waiting to pounce behind him. Among the cars behind the #8 was the #38H of Kirk Hooker and the #81 of Andrew gresel - Both of which were the points leader entering the night. On lap 32 there was a hard crash in turn 3 with the #96 and #83 hitting hard. Marc Jacobs in the #8 fm96 car was still holding on to the lead after 32 laps looking to earn his first career feature race victory but the #81 of Gresel was looking very hungry. On the lap 32 restart the #81 of Gresel got around the #8 but it was quickly called a jump start. After they tried it a second time the #81 of Gresel made the pass for the lead but a quick caution before the cars got to the line gave the position back to Jacobs. The caution was brought out for the #3 of Watson stopping in turn 2. Watson was held one lap for delay of race after coming back out on to pit road. In the end the #8 of Jacobs held off everyone for his first ever feature win! On the last lap Kirk hooker in the #38H went around Gresel taking home the second position and keeping the points lead tie! What afeature race that one was.

Coca-Cola Super Stocks

The Super Stocks also had a 40 lap feature race on July 13th seeing as though there were only the two divisions. The #99 started on the pole position. The race started off fairly wild with cars going everywhere. A quick caution came out on lap 3 for debris on the racetrack. Early in the race the #51 of Robblee and the #33 of Fothergill moved through the field very quickly with Robblee going to the race lead on lap five. After 10 laps into the race, the #84 of smith moved into second tracking down the leader but on lap 18 he slipped and lost a lot of ground on the race leader. A caution on lap 27 for the #47 spinning on the front straightaway - the caution erased robblee's large lead. First and second in points standings started on the front row for the restart with 13 laps to go in the race. The race went caution free from that point seeing the #51 of Robblee take off en route to his second win of the 2012 seaosn. The #84 of smith finished second and #33 of Paul Fothergill took the third position.

Thanks for the report .....hard to replace Trevor, but you had it pretty much covered. We are really lucky to have such great Pro Late Model drivers who give us excellent shows each week....any of 12-14 cars could be winners each week, and who can complain about having 22-25 show up each week.
Big Show Wednesday....probably 30+ for this one.
