The trucks / V8 stocks kinda worked. If they do it again need to line the V8s up on the inside, the trucks on the outside and always start the 55 dead last.

I think you may be laying blame where it doesn't belong. The rules themselves are to blame here, not that Gary and his team have the resources to exploit them. I firmly believe that the 55 team are within the rules. Plus he is one hell of a good driver. Should he move up to SS or LM? That is another debate and I don't think it is for outsiders to decide that. He likes running trucks from all appearances and the series needs all the trucks it can right now and I think the series needs him right now even if he spanks the field. This goes deeper than one truck. I think in this series in particular that the payouts, if they are even a factor, should reward participation more than winning. Winning has it's own rewards. Top up the points fund if you want but all trucks should get the same money per lap IMHO. This would help out the also rans that don't have the resources other do. Quite a few of the truck teams that have dropped out have done so because of stage of life issues. Marriage, kids, school, etc and others because they simply can't afford it even without the 'life issues'. Maybe the trucks need to run fewer dates? I don't know but I really like the trucks. It is unique to Delaware and would be a shame if it was lost. Maybe it is time for me to stop bench racing and put my money where my mouth is......don't know and I have life issues of my own. The biggest would be that building a garage would cost more than buying a truck right now LOL.
