So what did you guys think? I guess the rules are going to play a large factor again, and a lot of the crazy things will be tech'd out (possibly.... large grain of salt there). I will say, there was one particular car mentioned at the back of the room a lot. I looked at that car, and know the chassis was reasonably legal. Unsure if the car met weight regulations, and highly doubted if the engine was able to get good vacuum even at 2000RPM. Thing is, you can gripe all you like, the car at the time was allowed to race. Your voice was made heard, and from what I see..... that probably won't happen again (that engine coming back). I would like to see if that car would win with a crate.
Well , one, glad i cleared up can run holley 2bl on any chev engine , as spending over 400.00 min to get an old crappy rochester 4 bbl done would suck as a new 2 bbl holley is 349.00 in box.TWO, I would have liked to run USED hoissur tires from trucks with half tread or less. but alass nope. THREE, I do hope they have a rookie only practice day for all devisions.

With my experience with the trucks, you'd be changing your tires on your car around the half way mark in each race if you ran their Hoosier tires. They don't like being rubbed or run through bits of car either.
Also We have 2 practice days before the season starts. They're open to everyone. You can shake down the car and driver. Trail by fire is how I learned hahaha
I was happy to hear tonight that enforcement of the "stock" part of the rulebook will be taken more seriously this year as to years past.
I can say I expected less people to show up, a good turn out. As for stock rules, those are mushy, sadly. A little fimrer stance would be nice, but even I like to run the occasional baddie items.
