Hello All,

I hope the Christmas season is going well for everyone.

I am currently putting together the highlight reels that will be used in the new year at some of Delaware Speedway's trade-show events, such as the CPT Race Experience.  While I have my own ideas about what races / events will be included, I thought this might be an opportunity to open the floor to nominations for particular moments you feel represent the best of the racing in 2009.

Are there any particular races or duels that stick out in your mind as "the best of '09"?  Since all events were recorded and produced to DVD, we have access to everything that was recorded by the Checkered Flag Media team this year.

Some examples of moments already included, just to name a few:

Jason Lidster / Darrell Lake duel for the championship (August 9, 2009)
Multi-Three-Wide Truck Mayhem (July 31, 2009)
Robbie Pyle Out Front in LM (July 10, 2009)
Kirk Hooker Wins First Delaware Feature (August 7, 2009)
Book & Goertz Dry the Highside of the Race Track, Enduro Challenge Rainrace (August 21, 2009)

You got any footage of the "juicebox" and Jimmy Mairs duel? That had to be the longest battle of the year ;D

I'd say the last couple laps of the LM feature that Verhoeven won.

Maybe Robblee and Kennington's duel that left them both in the wall at the APC 300, leaving the win to Kennedy.

Anything where Newman, Cox, Shipway and McCullogh were all running under a blanket.

The night Jake Ott held off Jim Mairs for the first half of the race. I beleive that was on PArtsource 142 night. (and I say that because it was exciting...not just because it was Jake  😉 )

How about the night Stephen Richmond bested the Modified field.
