Where were all the Late Models? Half the field was missing.
The truck race was entertaining from third on back but the feel good race of the night was in SS. Darrell Lake driving JR Fitzpatrick's Camero beat out the 17 of Ken McNicol in a side by side duel. If you recall the 17 was the one that the 77 was 'involved with' last Saturday which resulted in the destruction of the 77. Both the 17 and the 77 put on a hell of a show tonight for most of the 28 laps. Congratulations Hollywood. Chris Lawrence came home third. He was catching the leaders at the end but ran out of time. If he could of won it would have been a storybook ending since this race was a 28 lapper in rememberence of his Father.

Kudos to Delaware for the race tribute
Kudos to JR Fitzpatrick for lending Darrell Lake his car
Kudos to Darrell Lake for coming back a week after a very hard hit that totaled his car and winning the race
Kudos also to Paul Fothergill for lending his Mustang to DJ De Jesus so he could start the race and earn some points. I guess the damage he got last week was worse than it looked from where I was sitting.

it's ridiculous to say more cars mean a better race unless you just all about the hype and not really interested in the actual racing...
