Ah OK. I just seem to recall Garner running a blue monte with the same number, That was some great racing back then.

Anyway, welcome to the boards!

Hi Jim  you and your Dad are great people to do business with. Hope to see you around a race track some day. And that #9 (Purple) was a GOOD Car and Driver.
Have a great 2010

Hi my name is Jim Taggart, and i raced in the cascar divison on friday nights at Delaware in the 80's, I drove the #9 Monte Carlo. I raced with Steve Roblee, Bobby Morris,Moe Merner, Phil McNally, Bill Rowse jr, Ken Charron and many others of that era. My dad and i towed every friday night from Windsor to Delaware, I enjoyed the competitiveness of the racing at Delaware and how well the other racers treated us every night. I've attached a couple pics of my car over some of the years i ran at Delaware, does anyone remember the #9 Monte carlo?

Hey cool car did you ever race with Al Chute
