Well the 91 is obviously Russ Urlin, but I don't remember that ride either. There were some pretty wild cars back then.
I think the 72 is Ron Tracey
In the last pic I see a car you haven't shown yet,
I think the 5 car is Billy Stephenson (Tim Horton's sponsored)?
Yup that's Stephenson. I think he was a Londoner. And yes, he did carry Timmy's as a sponsor at one point.
One car that seems to be missing from this batch is the Harvey's car of Dennis the Menace Robertson.
More from the Sharpie91 album, and a continuation of the "guess who" game. These are some pics from July 11 1982 at Delaware. For today, we'll start with the starting grid. ;D
Ah. Those were the days. The Super Lates were all mostly Camaros, the only thing that had a muffler was the pace car, and if there was a post-race pitside p**s-off, well....there were no stupid haulers getting in the way of the view!
Long time London campaigner

One of Barrie's finest?

You'll sometimes hear old timers talking about the string of christmas tree lights that went from the starter stand to the infield. Here you can see them. I can recall one instance of those lights getting taken out by a flipping race car.

Action shots tomorrow....if there's enough chatter! 😉
