MORE, MORE, MORE, PLEASE!!
Love this stuff. These SLM cars from back then are what I grew up on and still love today. Grew up at Checker Flag here in Windsor.
I know of many old Checker Flag pics if you are interested from the old photographer who has posted them
If you guys who put these up are on facebook, I would love to get in touch with you.
I collect old pics just like these and this has made my day.
I am a big Jr. Hanley fan and collector and would love to see some pics of his cars if you have any. I have tons of Hanley stuff but always looking for more.
Thanks again and looking forward to more old pics.
Ron N. in Windsor!

If you have not seen this you gonna like !

Ok, so this is the first bunch of a big pile of SS pics from 1982. If it has a question mark beside it, it just means that I don't have a first name or any recollection of it. Feel free to fill in the blanks!

Yes sir, in 1982, the world was introduced for the first time to Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, John Cougar, the Go-Gos, The Men at Work.....and Toni Basil (Oh Mickey you're so fine, youre so fine you blow my mind hey Mickey!)

In the theaters we lined up to see Sly go toe to toe with the Hulkster and Mr. T in Rocky 3, we saw Arnold make his debut as Conan, saw Capt Kirk take on Khan (and lose Mr Spock...snif), and saw ET go home.

Pac Man fever was in full swing, and on Friday nights at Delaware we gathered to watch our Super Late Model heroes, backed up by the rough and ready action of the Street Stock Divisions. (A and B)

In Street Stock then, guys pretty much drove either A: Chevelles, or B......Chevelles.

;D

Robblee won a lot in this car.

Squeak Williams. I hung out with his stepson and went to quite a few races with them. (This car would never have been accused of setting any speed records.)

Jim Wiersma

George Wall. This car ended up skating down the backstretch on its roof if I recall correctly.

Ken Thorne

Doug Stewart was usually a frontrunner.

Stenning?

Smith?

The Big Guy - Dave Silverthorne

Semensky?

Ok, so which Rijnen is this?
