no summer show down this year like what gives man its was the only time i want there looks like i don't have to go there now 

Schedule looks good enough to me.  I am glad there is no summer show down... they didn't really put on that great of a show, and the track lost tons of money because no one really showed up to watch.  Looks like it will be a good year.

I just don't like how the track has moved the Great Cdn Race from the Sunday to Saturday of Labour Day weekend, in deference to the Nascar Truck Race at Mosport. Now, the lm race will be competing for fans (and to some degree cars) from all the other Saturday night tracks, who could have attended easily when it was a Sunday. I've been for the last few years (even the mod tour) but know I will be at Merrittville on the Saturday of that weekend. There are still a number of stock car fans who a) don't like Nascar b) don't like road racing and think Nascar feels they are doing us a favour sending the third division to Mosport. 🙁

I agree Mike, but they didn't draw many fans last year on the Sunday.
Maybe they should have the 200 on the Friday night.

As a long time fan I 150% agree with the 200 on a Friday night! Nothing better then short track racing under the lights... especially for $10 000. With no Summer Showdown at night I think it would be a brilliant idea to throw the 200 on the Friday! great idea there...
