Problem last night was that you could only be looking in one place at a time, and there was stuff going on everywhere. Totally missed 97 lying in wait for Ott. Knuckledragger move if thet's the way it happened. Wish Sr. was still behind the wheel.
Also I'm curious if Koricina and McCaw got a talking to. I know both competitors, and know they're good runners and nice people, so...come on guys. What was up with that?
As far as the Fothergill Powell thing, that was sort of weird. If it was some sort of vendetta for Powell, do you do that crap when you're driving someone elses' buggy?
And on a personal note: Sometimes race fans amaze me. Only in stock-car racing do you get a competitor being loudly booed just because he does well week in and week out. I was a little disgusted at the boos for Fothergill....like he's the first guy that ever jumped a green. Come on folks. What's up with that? I'm not a Fothergill apologist, but this is the same guy that after winning his heat race stated he's thanked his sponsors enough and went on and made a mention of thanks to everyone else's sponsors too.
I can deal with a guy getting booed because hes a jerk, but being booed just becaiuse you win a lot makes my head spin. Anyway, just a beef. You pay your 15 bucks and I guess you can boo or cheer who ya want to.

A senoir official chassing a trailer out with the black flag.....sounds like a Wilcox deal to me as he does or at least did like to bring it to the drivers meeting.. ( last one I attended was 2008 though)
I did have the pleasure of meeting paul Fothergill a couple of years ago, and although he may interpert the rules differenlty he is a great driver, and a most needed assest to both the sport and track.. ( Thanks for keeping quiet on this one Mike)
I agree shaddow... take a deep breath, shake the hell out of your head, and think about the purpose of the sport... are you going to get rich? or are you there to enjoy the compainsionship and have fun?
I have never meet the 97 team and only know of their long history, and the tracks that have always been wrong in kicking them out. The only thing to say there is the common thread in all of the cases is clearly identified, end of story.... and I doubt it very much they would be kicked out , suspended, baned , or anything else from Delaware..JW does not work that way at least he did not when Kevin was there as the GM. He only wants the car counts...

There wasn't supposed to be bad blood between these 2 teams, but things sure got ugly last night. It was mostly a snowball effect. One thing led to another, and then we're wrecking equipment for no reason. Now Myself and the team have 2 torn up trucks to piece back together this week - I'm Not Impressed.
The Fans sure got quite the show, thats for sure.
