Who is hot, who is not for the extra cash this Friday???

Lets hope that the drivers and teams use their heads and can actually come to the conclusion that the race is not won before the green flag!!!

I like the idea they have this week for qualifying. The first lap is qualifying position for the first race, and the second qualifying lap is for the second race.Should be interesting who pushes the envelope the most.

With all the rainouts and double features that result from that this is a very cool idea. Simple yet gets the job done. I didn't like the start the second race where you finished the first deal. Don't know why but it just didn't seem right. If a guy crashes out the first race then the others move up I assume? Does qualifying get you any points?

Agreed. In the absence of heat races...which is always preferable, I like this format, particularly if they're going to be running straight up with no inversion. Inverting the whole field for the second one is fun, but can also be a recipe for disaster in a race thats only 25 laps long...as we saw at the start of the second feature last week.

This way, there won't be any sandbagging in the time trials either...which I know for a fact has been happening at least by a couple of guys. (usually the really fast ones too)

I'd like to nominate a dark horse for this race, but with a straight up time trial, I can't. It's down to Robblee or Sheridan. If Robblee gets out front, its his race as Sheridan puts on the kid gloves whenever he's behind Robblee. If Sheridan gets out front its 50/50. Robblee usually runs Sheridan clean but with this on the line it might entice him to add a pinch of pepper.

Possible darkhorses could be Kennedy if he found some tires, Matthews possibly, and maybe Hooker too, now that he's got the monkey off his back.

But I'm playing it safe this time and picking the 28 car.

Oh, and the 24 car in both SS and Modified   ;D

I guess bribing you with Nachos did work.  You have been redeemed!  😀
