We’ve been warned enough times about rough driving. The next time it happens take the culprit out of the race. The track will hope it’s not one of the stars, but if it is, park him to show they mean business.
Don’t take away radio’s. If a car is blocking or chopping a car trying to pass, send them to the back for two weeks until they learn. If they cause a wreck park them. Most of us don’t abuse radio’s.
Losing a few cars as the season goes on is normal. 24 Late Models is still an awesome show. Dropping to 18 or less is reason to be concerned.

I agree there needs to be more black flaging,  and park a racer if nessessary. The drivers meetings for as long as I can remember, Jeff has pleaded, take care of your equipment, respect your fellow racer, if its not your night back out . I feel Jeff has done a great job relaying this message, but the drivers seem to forget as they walk out the garage, Jeff (race directer) is the only one that can fix this, and until it is we will loose more great competitors and become labeled as the roughest track in ontario. Guys like Kirk Hooker, Jason Shaw, Pete Vanderwyste & Dan Deslile can wheel a race car, we need them.  Lets get our acts cleaned up.

Yes...I've been a fly on the wall at a few drivers meeting and have heard it myself. Protecting yours/other people's stuff and not being a goof is definitely a main part of the message every time I've listened in. (Anyone whos been at the meeetings has heard the "we don't want you harpooning your s*" message) So its not like it isn't being addressed.

However, I have seen in certain instances, and not just in LM, where guys have been involved in too many incidents over the course of a race and are still allowed in at the back of the field. Maybe its time for that to stop. Although, to Delaware's credit, they may be bound by NASCAR'S race procedure. I don't know in that regard.

I always like the micro-sprint rule that if you cause X number of  cautions, you're out of the race. (I beleive its 2)  Not stop-n-go, not go to the back of the line, but out of the race.

I seriously can't believe that I am hearing "it's not that bad out there".
I don't have it in front of me but I bet there have been more caution laps than actual racing laps.

Let me reiterate - we ran NINE NIGHTS STRAIGHT at New Smyna, with a rookie driver and we brought the car home in one perfect piece. We have spent thousands and thousands of dollars in the last three races fixing a race car; not because of the inexperience or our driver, but because the track refuses to park the weekend weapons. It is totally out of control and the only one making money is Roblee (rightly so) and McColl

in the last drivers meeting the drivers were told to look around them and to the people on the left and right and if you are going to wreck em tell him now so they can get it over with
