Wrong, I had a glass guy from Grants Auto Glass come in and do my Silverado and he used a purpose built OLfa knife. He "scratched" thru the seal all the way round. It takes TIME to get a window out so be patieint. The other methods I have used are Zip cut wheels and the old method of smash and vacuum!!!

I'll take some pictures and learn you how not to go the emergency room taking glasss out of a car
