On Race Time Radio tonight Kevin Bulmer was on there show talking about this weekends events at the CPT Show and was asked what CPT did with Delaware and Kevin Bulmer told them public relations etc and he said to watch for press release this week reguarding an announcement of at big race coming to the track He did not say what type of race but sounded like this does not mean the NCTS RACE .When and which race would not say but sounds like it will be announced before the weekend.Stay tune to london Free Press as they will probably have story on it or look on Delaware site as for sure announcement will be there for sure.Does this mean maybe ARCA car race or maybe NASCAR Modified Series race .Guess will just have to wait and see but would not be surprised if it is a big one for sure
sure.

Dreaming is fun, but the facilities could not support the crowd that would be needed to draw a profit for that race, the TV costs alone would kill the track. unless they can get a probably close to 1/2 million dollar sponsor on board i dont see this going off. That includes some upgrades to the facility as well of course in that 1/2 mil
but the truck series is in michigan the week before that. not that it would matter really as they would switch trucks to go from a super speedway to a short track. but its fun to think about. maybe the NCTS race would be a testing ground to a massive facility upgrade 😛 haha
The race may not be about profit, The Tv deal is the property of NASCAR and not the track, As far as the crowds go how much are we talking about 10,000? 15,000? Thats doable. The washroom upgrade could have been a part of all that. Let's not forget NASCAR Big Wigs hung around allot. That could have been the deal with the dude who ws up from Daytona for the awards banquet. I may be nuts but it's the kind of marketing deal the Trucks would benefit fom as well as more interest for NCTS needs as well. I'm really confused as t owhy no race date was set for the trucks.
If it happens somebody owes me a beer ;D and a bowl of Chili
