HI, just looked in again , glad to see people have contacts for others , keep them coming as I feel this can only make the racing community grow. I agree if you can do it yourself great, BUT sometimes folks need a bit of knowledge passed to them so, I figured lets pass around that knowledge here. Thanks to all who have dropped a line so far, the more the better for all racers, from grass roots to top of line LM. Help is great for all folks.
More than just shiny, I tear em down clean check all the parts REPLACE all the wear items, new seals gaskets, drill and tap drain. It takes a few hours and sandblasting the cases is a pain. Then the shiny part comes. Rebuild kit is well over $100. You get what you pay for.
Humm, I guess racers like to keep pretty quiet of their BEST AT , as I see only a few here speaking up. Eg. best at frame repair? BDS Dave?, or chase set up Mike McColl? I think if we races give out various names in multiple areas then the community can benefit . I like Dave for frams, but I know there are others in town too. I like mike , but hey Port city mich has some creative guys also. Oh and belmont has a small garage that does carbs, not sure of the fellows name thou ,, but I have heard of him from more than one person. The point here IS , i have heard of him and his small belmont garage. So lets see if others know and WILL share their knowledge of BEST AT .

A very limted few will tell anything about there cars .....even in carts with kids parents wont say a thing .....but that was ok with me .....nobody likes to get whipped by the new kid ....lol
