Delaware Speedway is pleased to announce today a change to the upcoming Transmission Direct Enduro event.  The event features an adjusted format and additional prize money and opportunity for competitors.

The “Top-Dog” Showdown format will run as a pair of 125-lap feature races on August 14.  The lineup for the first race will be set based on a total reversal of points and will feature a full payout.

The second race is the Top Dog Showdown.  For this race, drivers who recorded a lap under 24 seconds on the DelaNET scoring system either during the first feature or during any other Transmission Direct Enduro Saturday event in 2010 will be designated Top Dogs.  Driver’s who have not run this season, but are deemed to be cars capable of laying down laps less than 24 seconds will also be designated Top Dogs.  These drivers will be held on pit road for the first two laps of the second race and released from the dog pound when the leader begins their second lap.

The second race has $2,400 in prize money allocated towards it, details of how it is divided are included in the event format.  Both races count for full Transmission Direct Enduro Championship points.

The Ultimate Sandblasting & Coating Chaos Cars will run between the pair of features on their Chaos Course and there is also scheduled to be a Train Race demonstration with a trio of vehicles chained together, scheduled to compete on September 4.

The format comes as Transmission Direct Enduro drivers are hungry for racing following the cancellation of the most recent Transmission Direct Enduro back on July 17th.

Fans who attended either ISMA Super Modified event on August 6 or 7 can use their ticket stub to obtain 50% entry to this Transmission Direct Enduro event.

Starting to sound like a larger/faster CHAOS race.

sounds like someone is a little ticked!!!

Just a thought here...
if people werent cheating there wouldnt be cars goin faster than 24 seconds.  Enduro's are ment to be stock cars upgraded for SAFETY not  performance.
