Hey Steve the last time they were at Cayuga they had 34 cars 2009  When they were at Delaware back in the late 80s early 90s when Dave Mathers had his foot in the door I can remember around 30+ cars are you sure you R not remembering the small field of trucks now that sucked LoL

Yeah maybe. Lol
I remember Andy Farr going on with the arca cars after and almost getting killed in a wreck at Daytona.

Just to quell the rumors before everyone gets too excited. There is no ARCA race planned at Delaware this year, due to sched conflict with our other big events.

That's right from the horse's mouth: Never say never...but not this year for ARCA.

Delaware is committed to the Summer Showdown, ISMA Supers, NASCAR Canadian Tire Series and the Whelen Mods at the Great Canadian Weekend. That's your 4 large events for the year.

Hope that clears it up.

I do rememeber seeing ARCA at Delaware though...those were some pretty good shows. The one I'm thinking of was in the very late 80s. Don't remember too many particulars but I do remember, strangely enough, how loud they were. We'd just gone over to the CASCAR style LM on Fri nights, so we were used to a quieter show, and these guys were even louder than the SLMs.

I remember a guy, I think it was Grant Adcox, that advertised he had an all girl pit crew. (If its the guy I'm thinking of, he was killed in a race a few years later)

I also recall that it was the first group I'd seen at Delaware where the pace car dipped into the pits via the frontstretch entrance, (This was before we had pit road) and the guys didn't get on it till they were right at the line. Funny the stuff the memory drags up. I know I have a couple of pix somewhere. One of these days I'll put em up.

See  Someone has sniffed to much Octane over the years as he said it was a go 😛  I would rather see ARCA then the Canadian tire series  The Canadian Tire series does nothing for me anymore and never wasted time or money to see them this year or will I next year

I would say the APC 300 (or whatever it was named 2010), was one of the best races two years in a row. ISMA's were great, but I will say those two races (09-10) were exciting as heck. Bring whatever shows you want, just keep that final race exciting.
